Dedicated Dial-Up
CTI’s Dedicated Dial-up service is designed for customers who require reliable 24/7 connectivity and are unable to receive broadband services in their area. You may view a dynamic map of our dial-up service areas.
Dedicated Dial-Up Includes:
- 1 static IP address
- 5 e-mail addresses
- 10 Mb of web space
- No session timeouts
Bulk Dial-Up
Some of our business customers need to supply Internet access to roaming or remote employees. Dial-up is a great option for these folks because it is still the most portable of reliable connection options.
CTI offers bulk dial-up pricing to businesses who meet the following criteria:
- Dial-up accounts primarily active during business hours.
- Dial-up accounts all billed to the same place.
- Willing to purchase a minimum of 6 dial-up accounts.
CTI’s Dial-up accounts do not include static IP addresses and carry a 5 hour session timeout. They are designed to be utilized for general access, rather than a dedicated connection.
Dial-up services use normal copper pair telephone lines, which are purchased from a local telephone company by the customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the number dialed for CTI Networks services will not incur long distance telephone company charges. Please see our dial-up number database to see if there is a number local for your area.
After the modem is connected, CTI provides the Internet bandwidth to the customer from our network backbone, which is multi-homed and interconnects with several different national and local access providers. CTI Networks’ facilitates national network interconnections between Verizon, Embarq, Cogent and Level3 with local telephone company connections between Verizon, Embarq, Level3, Frontier, and One Communications.
