What is provided as Full Service Wholesale DSL?
CTI provides the following items…
- Control Panel Access for ISP to monitor their DSL user base, view authentications, kick users offline, monitor bandwidth usage, etc.
- Ordering template for placing DSL order requests
- CTI handles telco DSL ordering process and provides status updates to the ISP, up to order completions.
- CTI provides point of contact for tier two and above troubleshooting requests from the ISP
- CTI provides a detailed bill to the ISP broken down by wholesale DSL line.
- Billing begins for each customer on the date that the telco activates the DSL line.
- Wholesale DSL available in any service area where CTI Networks can provide DSL. Please view our Service Areas Map for complete listing of DSL cities.
ISP provides the following items…
- Supply DSL hardware to their customer. *
- Walk customer through initial set-up and ensure all tier 1 support is complete before contacting CTI for support.*
- ISP will be responsible for billing the customer’s at the ISP’s retail rate and collecting individual customer payments.
- ISP will make one lump sum wholesale payment to CTI per invoice.
* Support contracts and/or hardware contracts may be negotiated separately from the Wholesale DSL rate.
What is provided as PVC Aggregation?
CTI Provides the following items….
- PVC channel between ISP to Telco Network
- Control Panel to Monitor PVC usage and Stats
- Upgradeable throughput to telco with benefits of economies of scale at the specific bandwidth you need.
- Basic routing of traffic from Telco ATM network to ISP’s Network.
- The individual ISP will be responsible for all other aspects of DSL ordering, routing and customer ownership.

- Difficulty in establishing points of contact/wholesale representatives with the telco’s
- High cost of circuit deployment both between telco to ISP and new backbone requirements to service higher bandwidth customers

ISP’s wishing to expand their service areas.

Costly new circuits must be installed in each State, LATA, Telco, etc. This can lead to excessive cost per customer in any given service region. Many existing DSL providers choose to use PVC Aggregation to expand their current DSL footprint while maintaining their existing DSL network in tact.
